Blockout Roller Blinds

Blockout blinds conserve heat at night, retaining the warmth generated by wood burners, gas or electric heaters, heat pumps, or ventilation systems. Wooden Venetians
These blinds are reliable, highly functional, and decorative window treatments - fully adjustable to get the desired light ambience in a room.
Venetian blinds are designed to be a static blind, kept in the down position, with the blades tilted to provide control over the light direction. They should only be lifted on occasion, with a hand assisting the bottom rail, to clean or open windows. Extra heavy UV coating to look great for longer, Marupa comes from sustainable plantations. It’s also more stable and doesn’t warp as much as other woods and fauxwood. By tilting of the slats, you can create the exact light ambience you want. Setting these blinds to full tilt blocks the light and creates privacy at night. By pulling them right up, an unrestricted view is possible..
Aluminium Venetians
With finely spaced slats, these blinds efficiently reflect harsh NZ sunlight, yet allow a good light level in your room - keeping your furniture and floor coverings in that original fresh condition.
All blind slats are stove-enamelled and will retain their original condition without creasing. They are the highest grade of aluminium alloy - with up to 20% recycled material. Slats can be opened to let the cool breeze through or closed a bit to reduce cooling bills by reflecting the sun’s heat. An unrestricted view is possible by pulling blinds right up. At night, fully tilting slats can block light and create total privacy – conserving heat in your room.
PVC Venetians
By tilting of the slats, you can create the exact light ambience you want. In winter, heat is conserved when slats are closed. In summer, they can be opened to let the cool breeze through. PVC blinds have good stability in high temperature environments. They are great for high moisture areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. Setting these blinds to full-tilt blocks the light and creates total privacy at night. Pulling them right up gives an unrestricted view. Available in 50mm and 63mm slats
Honeycombe Venetians
Installing a cellular blind in your home, will improve your insulation dramatically as the unique honeycomb structures trap heat during Summer and prevents heat loss during Winter. In a test conducted by the Consumer NZ, honeycomb blinds retained more heat than any other kind of window treatment.
Available in a number of fresh and modern colours, the cellular range also has the option of a 100% child safety proof cordless blind – this comes in single cell light filtering, blockout or topdown bottom-up styles. Honeycomb blinds can be installed snugly into your window frame with minimal light gaps, and the fabric has a metallised lining giving 100% light block. Great for bedrooms – to help you sleep before sunset and after sunrise. You get a warm gentle glow in the room instead of harsh sunlight and UV, while keeping privacy. To get a view, the blinds can be lifted. The blinds are made from high quality non-woven polyester. These blinds aren’t transparent and will gently filter natural light without sacrificing your privacy. Honeycomb blinds literally disappear to a very small 'stack' as they take up very little headroom in your window when they're pulled up.
Vertical Blinds
These vertical blinds have totally flexible light control. They can be drawn right back to the side to offer unlimited views, or tilted to full closure. Slats can actually be tilted a full 180 degrees. Blind component parts use quality UV-stabilised materials with spacing controlled by stainless steel links for extra durability. Self-lubricating plastics give easy efficient operation for years to come. Blinds come with easy wand control which is safe and hazard-free for children.
Roman Blinds
Roman Blinds are very similar to Roller Blinds, the main difference is that this style is made in sections that will fold to the top giving a cascade look, made in many cases with the same softer fabrics used in the Curtain industry. Control styles vary from cord systems, chain styles or cordless systems.
